Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed on this website with Neeta's Home Bakery. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them before you order.

1. Who you are dealing with

Neeta's Home Bakery is a home-based bakery run as a sole proprietorship by Neeta Srivastava, operating from H-644, 1st Avenue, Gaur City-1, Greater Noida West, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh 201301. It is not a company, and there is no separate legal entity behind it — you are contracting directly with Neeta Srivastava.

2. This is a home kitchen, not a factory

Everything is baked to order in a residential kitchen, in small batches, by one person. This is the whole point of a home bakery — but it also means our capacity on any given day is limited, and we may decline an order if we cannot bake it properly in the time available. We would rather tell you upfront than promise something we can't deliver well.

3. Placing an order

Orders are placed through this website. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy; the order is confirmed only once we accept it and your payment is verified. Until then, an order sitting in your cart or awaiting payment is not a confirmed order.

We check every order for kitchen capacity before confirming it. If we cannot fulfil an order — because a date is fully booked, an item is unavailable, or the delivery address is outside our range — we will tell you before taking payment, or refund you in full if payment was already made.

4. Pricing and availability

Prices shown on the site are the prices we charge at the time of your order and are inclusive of all costs on our side — we are not currently registered for GST (our turnover is below the ₹40 lakh threshold that requires goods registration), so no GST is added to your bill.

Prices and the menu can change without notice, but the price you were charged at checkout is the price that applies to your order — a later price change does not affect an order already placed. Photographs are representative; actual decoration, colour and finish on custom cakes may vary slightly from reference images, since each cake is handmade.

Some items (custom cakes, hampers, seasonal specials) are priced individually and confirmed with you directly over WhatsApp or phone before the order is finalised.

5. Allergens — please read this carefully

We work with wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts (including walnut and peanut), and soy in the same home kitchen, using shared equipment, utensils and surfaces. Some products are prepared eggless on request, but we cannot guarantee any product is completely free of a particular allergen, because this is a home kitchen and not a segregated allergen-free facility.

If you or anyone eating our food has a food allergy or intolerance — especially to nuts — please tell us before ordering, and check the allergen information listed against each product. Peanut Butter Muffins and Walnut Brownies, in particular, are made with the named nut and may carry traces into other items baked the same day. If in doubt, ask us directly before you order. We take allergies seriously, but the final judgment on whether a product is safe for a specific allergy sits with you and, where relevant, your doctor.

6. FSSAI compliance

Neeta's Home Bakery operates under FSSAI Registration No. 22724446001566 (Basic Registration), covering bakery products, ready-to-eat savouries and Indian sweets and snacks, in line with the turnover limit that applies to this category of registration. This number is displayed on our website footer as required. We follow standard home-kitchen food safety practice — clean workspace, verified ingredients, and same-day or next-day baking against your delivery date, since nothing here is made to sit in stock.

7. Delivery

We currently deliver within roughly 40 km of our kitchen in Gaur City-1, Greater Noida West, covering parts of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and East Delhi. Delivery fees and minimum order values depend on distance and are shown at checkout — see our Delivery Policy for the full breakdown. We do not deliver outside this radius, and the site will tell you if your address is out of range.

Standard orders need 24 hours' lead time; custom cakes need 48 hours. Delivery happens in the slot you choose at checkout (10am–1pm, 1pm–4pm, 4pm–7pm or 7pm–9pm). We will try our best to hit the slot, but home-kitchen delivery depends on traffic and courier availability, so please treat slot times as a target, not a guarantee to the minute.

8. Your obligations as a customer

When you order, please make sure:

• The delivery address and pincode you give us are correct and complete.
• Someone is available to receive the order at the address during the chosen slot.
• Your phone number is correct and reachable, since our delivery partner and we may need to call you.
• Any allergy or dietary restriction relevant to your order is mentioned at the time of ordering, not after.

If a delivery fails because the address was wrong or nobody was available to receive it, see our Cancellation and Refunds page for how that is handled — in short, we cannot offer a refund for a delivery failure that was outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

We take care in how we bake and pack, but as a small home kitchen, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect losses — for example, a spoiled celebration — beyond replacing or refunding the product itself, where a refund is due under our policy. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for gross negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example if our delivery area, pricing structure, or FSSAI registration changes. The version on this page is always the current one, and the "Last updated" date at the top reflects when it last changed. Continuing to order from us after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from an order or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
